OR

Orca Dex

Orca is a Solana DEX known for a clean swap UI and Whirlpools, its concentrated liquidity pools. You connect a wallet, trade SPL tokens, or LP inside a price range for higher fee potential. It feels simpler than Raydium’s product pile. Security track record is solid for Solana DeFi. Liquidity on majors is strong and Jupiter routes through it often. Memecoin chaos and launchpad sprawl are more Raydium/Pump territory. Good for clean swaps and serious LPs. Not a full launchpad casino.

AE

Aerodrome Dex

Aerodrome is the main DEX on Base, Coinbase’s Ethereum L2. You swap tokens, provide liquidity, and (if you lock AERO) vote on which pools get weekly rewards. It uses a ve(3,3) setup: lock AERO for veAERO, direct emissions, and collect fees plus bribes from the pools you back. Deepest liquidity on Base for a lot of pairs. Cheap gas. The model is powerful and confusing. Built for LPs and governors more than one-click beginners.

RA

Raydium Dex

Raydium is one of Solana’s main decentralized exchanges. You swap from liquidity pools, provide LP, farm yields, and launch tokens through LaunchLab. It is not just a swap button. CPMM covers simple full-range pools. CLMM is concentrated liquidity for active LPs. Jupiter and wallets often route through Raydium without you noticing. Deep Solana liquidity and launch tools are the draw. Scam tokens, IL, and a busy UI are the cost of entry.

UN

Uniswap Dex

Uniswap is the big dog of decentralized exchanges. You connect a wallet, swap tokens from a liquidity pool, and keep custody yourself. No account signup, no bank KYC for the protocol itself. It started on Ethereum in 2018 and now runs across many chains and L2s. V2 is the simple pool model. V3 lets LPs aim liquidity at a price range. V4 adds programmable “hooks” so pools can behave in custom ways. Deepest on-chain liquidity for majors. Gas, scams, and LP complexity are the tax you pay for that freedom.

PU

PumpSwap Dex

PumpSwap is Pump.fun’s own Solana DEX for tokens that finish the bonding curve and “graduate.” Instead of shipping those coins to Raydium like before, liquidity moves straight into a PumpSwap pool. It’s a basic constant-product AMM (same style as Uniswap v2), built for memecoin trading after launch. Fees are much lower than the bonding-curve phase. Most coins are still pure speculation. Great for pump.fun traders. Useless if you want blue-chip DeFi.

ME

Meteora Dex

Meteora is a Solana DEX built for people who provide liquidity — not just click swap. Its main tool, DLMM, lets you park tokens in specific price “bins,” earn fees when trades hit those bins, and watch fees rise when markets get wild. A lot of Solana volume actually routes through Meteora via aggregators like Jupiter even if you never open the site. Great for active LPs and token launches. Rough for beginners who treat farming APR like free money.
